Xin Wang is a nationally recognized leader in the financial services industry and the Founder of Abacus Financial Strategies LLC, based in Houston, TX. With a proven track record of excellence, he was named a Forbes National Top Financial Security Professional in 2025 and achieved the prestigious role of Council President at New York Life in 2024.

Xin holds a Ph.D. from the University of Milan and holds industry leading credentials, including the Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) and Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designations. Before transitioning to financial services, Xin practiced as a heart surgeon in China, which instilled in him meticulous precision, exemplary discipline, and a deep dedication to service. These attributes continue to shape his work as a financial advisor today.
Outside of his professional career, Xin cherishes time with his wife, Min, to whom he has been happily married since 1993, and their two children, Tian and Joy. He enjoys cooking, fishing, and creating memorable moments with family and friends.
